Acting as a "Local Cultural Specialist" in Rajasthan, India for Butterfield & Robinson based in Toronto, Canada.

    Aside from anthropological research of dance, Amrita also gives talks, demonstrations and performances and works in the field of “Creative Education and Dance”. Through personally organized workshops and through organizations like Amarrage Sans Frontier (Cultures without Borders), Amrita is able to bring Indian dance and philosophy to a variety of cultures, organizations, schools, communities, teachers, students, and to people of all backgrounds.  Amrita’s mission is to create a dialogue between cultures, and these educational presentations enable her to reach out to a variety of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. In these presentations, Amrita highlights her personal experience in creative education she received in Santiniketan and focuses on Tagore’s philosophy on education.
